Prince Harry has lost a court case against the publisher of the Daily Mail, in which he sought £50 million in compensation, accusing the newspaper of illegally gathering information, including phone hacking. This is reported by The Telegraph, writes UNN.

The UK Supreme Court has completely dismissed all 97 claims against Associated Newspapers. Along with Prince Harry, six other people were plaintiffs, including musician Elton John, actress Elizabeth Hurley, and Baroness Doreen Lawrence.
Judge Matthew Nicklin concluded that the plaintiffs failed to prove illegal information gathering, and the publication's materials were obtained from legal sources. He also noted that the testimony of one key witness was significantly undermined during cross-examination.
Harry accused of "whitewashing the facts"
After the ruling was announced, Prince Harry sharply criticized the court.

The Duke of Sussex also called the court's decision a "complete and obvious whitewashing of the facts."
Associated Newspapers welcomed the court's decision. Company chairman Paul Dacre stated that the lawsuit was baseless and should never have proceeded to a full hearing.
The Telegraph notes that Prince Harry has not yet announced whether he will appeal the court's decision.
