Outbreak of infection in Poltava: most students have improved

Most students at the Yaroslav Mudryi Poltava Law Institute have improved after the poisoning incident, but four remain feverish; authorities continue to investigate.

The condition of most of the students of the Yaroslav the Wise Poltava Law Institute who were hospitalized with poisoning has improved. However,  four of them  still have a fever. This was stated by the head of the regional military administration Philip Pronin, reports UNN.

The head of the DIA noted that all the victims are receiving the necessary assistance.

Update

The State Service of Ukraine for Food Safety and Consumer Protection and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention continue their epidemiological investigation of the outbreak of acute intestinal infection in Poltava. Their experts, together with police investigators, have taken samples of food, drinking water, and contact surface washings from the restaurant in question.

The Yaroslav the Wise Poltava Law Institute denied the information about the mass poisoning of its students.

According to the statement on the official website, the information about the mass poisoning of students is not true.

An outbreak of acute intestinal infection was registered in Poltava among students of the Yaroslav the Wise Law Institute of NSW. During the night of December 6, 27 people were hospitalized with poisoning.
