Martial law in South Korea: embassy publishes recommendations for Ukrainians

Due to the declaration of martial law in South Korea, the Ukrainian Embassy issued a warning to citizens. Ukrainians are advised to avoid mass events and have their documents with them.
The Ukrainian Embassy in South Korea has called on Ukrainians who are in the country to refrain from participating in mass events, in particular of a political nature. This is stated in the statement of the embassy, reports UNN.
In connection with the declaration of a state of emergency/martial law in the Republic of Korea, we ask Ukrainian citizens who are in Korea to follow the instructions of local authorities, refrain from participating in mass events, in particular of a political nature, and follow official messages through the channels of the embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Korea
The embassy advised you to keep your identity documents with you when going outside, remain calm, and if necessary, contact the embassy's hotline.
Recall
South Korean President Yoon Sok Yule imposed martial law, accusing the opposition of anti-state activities. The decision was made after the Democratic Party initiated budget cuts and impeachment of the state auditor.
After-near the parliament there were clashes between the military and protesters, the opposition calls the actions of the president unconstitutional. Subsequently, the military left the South Korean parliament building.
