In the temporarily occupied Sevastopol, due to massive power outages and an acute fuel shortage, part of the public transport has stopped. This is reported by Krym.Realii, citing Russian media, informs UNN.
Details
It is noted that for several days in the city, passengers have been storming the scarce public transport that remains on the routes. Trolleybuses run only intermittently due to power outages, some bus routes have been canceled, and service intervals have been increased.
According to the head of the Russian Union of Transport Companies of Sevastopol, Viktor Rykov, in the current situation, transport enterprises are allocated only a quarter of the actually needed fuel volume. Some operate on their meager reserves with partial assistance from the occupation authorities, although the cost of fuel has long exceeded the calculations laid down in the contract.
When calculating compensation under the contract, they set 76 rubles per liter of fuel. Yesterday we bought it at 145 rubles per liter of fuel. Because of fuel, besides urban transportation, intercity transportation has also dropped by 80%.
Earlier, the so-called head of Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozhayev, stated that official and public transport would be refueled at gas stations. He also reported that transport would operate during air raid alerts. At the same time, buses and trolleybuses will make short stops to allow those who wish to go to shelters.
Recall
In 15 regions of Russia, restrictions on the sale of gasoline have been introduced, and a state of emergency has been declared in occupied Crimea. The shortage is attributed to Ukraine's strikes on oil refining infrastructure.
