Truck traffic from Ukraine to Slovakia has partially resumed at the Uzhhorod checkpoint. The traffic was previously blocked by Slovak carriers on December 11.

The passage of trucks from Ukraine to Slovakia, where Slovak carriers were holding a protest at the Vysne Nemecke-Uzhhorod checkpoint, has been partially resumed, the State Border Guard Service reported on Thursday, UNN reports.

As of 06:00, 28 trucks have reportedly already been cleared to leave Ukraine at the Uzhhorod checkpoint. 24 of them have already passed all types of control on the Slovak side.

"It was previously reported that 2 trucks per hour would be allowed to enter Slovakia. In fact, 3-4 trucks are allowed to enter per hour," the SBGS said.

on December 11, representatives of the Slovak carriers' union blocked truck traffic through the Vysne Nemecke-Uzhhorod checkpoint. The carriers restricted the movement of trucks traveling from Ukraine to Slovakia. Truck traffic leaving Slovakia was not blocked. The passage of cars and buses is carried out in the normal mode.
