Iryna Andriivna Vereshchuk is a Ukrainian political and state figure. She was born on November 30, 1979, in the city of Rava-Ruska, Lviv Oblast. She graduated from the Lviv Military Institute at the Lviv Polytechnic National University, with degrees in law and international relations. From 2010 to 2015, she served as the mayor of Rava-Ruska, becoming one of the few female city mayors in Ukraine. Later, she worked in the security and defense sector and taught at universities.
