Details
"The first ceasefire agreement since Russia sent tanks into Ukraine three years ago, brokered by the United States during negotiations in Saudi Arabia, will affect the exhausting war and appears to reward Moscow without requiring any noticeable concessions from Kyiv," the article reads.
According to the publication, "it also seems that Russia will gain much more than Ukraine from the announcement of a ceasefire at sea and a possible ban on attacks on energy facilities."

Following the new meeting in Riyadh, the White House said that the United States and Ukraine agreed to ensure safe navigation in the Black Sea.
In a separate statement following the US-RF talks, the White House also stated that the US and Russia, following the talks in Saudi Arabia, agreed to ensure safe navigation.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the statements "differ slightly." Following the meetings of the American and Ukrainian sides in Riyadh, one of the 5 points in the joint statement concern the return of children, captured military and civilians, in the Russian statement - the issue of ports and assistance in transporting Russian agricultural products, which the President considered as a weakening of sanctions.
Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov noted that the movement of its warships by Russia beyond the eastern part of the Black Sea will be considered a violation of the spirit of the agreement and will be considered a violation of the obligations to ensure freedom of navigation in the Black Sea and a threat to the national security of Ukraine. In this case, Ukraine will have the full right to exercise the right to self-defense, Umerov emphasized.
