Educational security inspectors will work in secondary education institutions of Ukraine on a permanent basis. They will be responsible for the safety of children, controlling access control and conducting legal awareness classes.
Educational security inspectors will be working in general secondary education institutions of Ukraine during the educational process. They will be responsible for the safety of children, controlling access control, patrolling the territory and conducting interactive legal awareness classes. This was stated by Nadiya Sytnyk, Head of the Department of Organization of the Educational Security Service of the National Police of Ukraine, during a telethon, UNN reports.
Educational security inspectors will be present in general secondary education institutions at all times during the educational process. These are security specialists who will make sure that no unauthorized person or suspicious object threatens the safety of children
According to her, the inspectors are tasked with controlling the access regime and patrolling the school grounds.
Inspectors of the educational security service will also conduct interactive classes with children on legal awareness and cooperate with all participants in the educational process: parents, teachers and children
The inspectors will also be responsible for helping children resolve conflicts.
"Already 763 general secondary education institutions have their own educational security inspectors. Among them, 342 educational institutions are located in regional centers, 17 regional centers of our country and 421 general secondary education institutions in territorial communities of 20 regions. These are the inspectors of the Educational Security Service who have been carefully selected
She says that the first selection took place among active police officers. They received specialization, special training that will help them effectively perform their duties in general secondary education institutions.
Civilians were also selected to fill vacant positions.
This is a very thorough selection process. We have very high requirements for those employees who will work in the school. And only a quarter of those who applied were able to pass this selection, and now they are undergoing training to work in schools after graduation. The Educational Security Service will primarily provide its presence in up to 2000 general secondary education institutions

Inspectors of the Educational Security Service are already working in 763 secondary schools in 20 regions. By the end of this year, law enforcement officers will be working in 2,000 schools in the country.
