Students from 19 regions of Ukraine can buy discounted tickets for electric trains in the UZ application

In Ukraine, students now have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets for suburban trains and City Express directly in the Ukrzaliznytsia application. This is reported by UNN with reference to UZ.

Details

To purchase a ticket, you need to perform the following steps:

• open the Ukrzaliznytsia application on your phone (Android or IOS) via the link;
• select the “Suburban” or “Kyiv City Express” section and the departure and arrival points;
• select “Student ticket” instead of full;
• be sure to enter the series and number of the student ID card;
• click the “Add benefit” button;
• pay for the service - the ticket is pulled up with a discount. The discount for the benefit is applied during payment.

Currently, online tickets for students are available in 19 regions of Ukraine. These are Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, Chernivtsi, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia regions.

Ukrzaliznytsia expanded the functionality of its mobile application. The ability to purchase online tickets appeared in Lviv, Volyn, Ternopil, Rivne, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zakarpattia, and Chernivtsi regions.
