Poland provided Ukraine with military aid worth about $4.5 billion. The Minister of Defense stated that supporting Ukraine is a strategic task for Poland's security.

The total value of military aid provided by Poland to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war is about $4.5 billion (16.45 billion zlotys), of which about $425 million (1.55 billion zlotys), or 9.4%, fell in 2024-2026. This was reported by the Ministry of National Defense of Poland, writes UNN.

According to the minister, Poland transferred to Ukraine T-72, PT-91 and Leopard 2A4 tanks, armored vehicles, MiG-29 aircraft, Mi-2 helicopters, rocket launchers, as well as artillery, tank and mortar ammunition. In addition, the country trained over 30,000 Ukrainian servicemen as part of the European training mission and ensures the operation of the logistics hub in Rzeszów.

Kosiniak-Kamysz noted that the issue of transferring additional MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine is "not closed," but Warsaw considers this possibility only under the condition of a mutually beneficial exchange.
Separately, the head of the Polish Ministry of Defense confirmed the transfer of missiles for Patriot systems to Ukraine. According to him, the decision was made after consultations with NATO, the United States and the General Staff of Poland, and the transferred volume did not affect the capabilities of Polish air defense.
