HACC adjourns choosing a measure of restraint for ex-head of Lviv Oblast Economic Court until December 23

The trial of the former head of the Economic Court of Lviv Region, Mykhailo Yurkevych, has been postponed to December 23. He is suspected of extorting a $1 million bribe.
The High Anti-Corruption Court has postponed to December 23 the consideration of a motion to impose a preventive measure on the former head of the Economic Court of Lviv Region, who is suspected of extorting $1 million in illegal benefits from a representative of a private company. This was reported to UNN by Olesia Chemeris, head of the HACC communications department.
As UNN has learned from its own sources, it is Mykhailo Yurkevych.
For example, Chemeris said that the court postponed the election of a preventive measure against the former head of the Economic Court of Lviv region until December 23.
Addendum
On December 9, the current and former chairmen of the Economic Court of Lviv region were served with a notice of suspicion of extortion of USD 1 million in undue advantage from a representative of a private company.
As UNN has learned from its own sources, these are the current head of the court Vasyl Artimovych and the former Mykhailo Yurkevych.
Subsequently, the High Council of Justice granted permission to detain Vasyl Artimovych, the head of the Economic Court of Lviv Region, and suspended him from administering justice for two months.
Also, the HCJ gave its consent to the arrest of Yurkevych.
On December 13, it was reportedthat the HACC remanded Vasyl Artimovych, head of the Economic Court of Lviv region, to custody with an alternative of UAH 20 million bail.
