From March 25 to May 31, municipal schools in the capital will start accepting applications for first grade. Documents are accepted not only in person, but also in electronic form or in the form of postal letters. This was announced by the deputy head of the Kyiv City State Administration Valentyn Mondriyivskyi, UNN reports .

Applications will be accepted until May 31. As last year's experience shows, this is the most comfortable time for parents who have already decided whether their child will go to first grade and to which school. I would like to remind you that the main criterion for enrollment in the first grade is territorial accessibility, namely, the assignment of the children's residential addresses to certain schools. No contributions to charitable foundations or attendance at preparatory courses can be a priority factor for enrollment,

- Mondriyevsky said.

Details

It is noted that to enroll a child in the first grade, it is enough to submit a statement from one of his or her parents, either in person or in scanned copies or photocopies sent in person or by e-mail to the school. Original documents, including medical certificates, can be submitted later.
