Arsen Zhumadilov, Head of the State Logistics Operator, detailed the strict selection criteria for the enterprise to combat corruption and ensure ethical procurement practices. Under his leadership, transparency in military food procurement, including price disclosure, is a priority.
The head of the State Operator of the Logistics, Arsen Zhumadilov, spoke about his personnel policy and how the newly created enterprise recruits personnel, UNN reports .
We have to change the system fundamentally, and this means, among other things, that the people who work in the newly built processes are those who, both professionally and ethically, are the ones we, as a society, must rely on. In order to ensure this, we have a thorough employee selection procedure. All of them go through 5 levels of selection, including a compliance check, which means checking what property people have, whether they can confirm how they acquired it. He emphasized that the check is aimed at making sure that a person is able to professionally and efficiently carry out procurement for hundreds of millions, billions of hryvnias and not be tempted to "pinch something off."
According to Zhumadilov, members of his team are familiarized with the best anti-corruption standards, must understand what a conflict of interest is and how this issue is regulated, what the gift policy is, how to communicate with suppliers and how not to.
"This training takes place regularly so that people who are employed by our agency understand exactly that the agency does not tolerate corruption," said the head of the State Logistics Operator.

After his appointment as the head of the State Logistics Operator, Zhumadilov announced changes in procurement, including food for the military.
According to him, the State Logistics Operator will divide the 407 items in the catalog of food for the military into approximately 30-35 categories, each of which will have separate contracts and procedures.
"The price per unit of each product will be available to the public so that it understands exactly what price an egg, apple, potato, meat, etc. is purchased at," Zhumadilov assured.
