In Bangkok, "bouncers" killed a tourist from Britain after a fight near a karaoke bar

A 28-year-old British tourist tried to force his way into a karaoke bar in Bangkok, but was kicked out by local security. After that, two bouncers chased him on a motorcycle, and later the man was found dead 200 meters from the bar he was trying to visit.

This is reported by UNN with reference to The Sun.

He didn't look drunk, but he was acting strangely

According to eyewitnesses, the vacationer was acting strangely. He ran a long distance, almost a kilometer, before appearing in front of the door of a karaoke bar that provides sexual services.

CCTV cameras showed that the Briton did not look drunk and was "running in a straight line". After running to the establishment, the man tried to force his way into it and demanded that he be served beer, but the local security pushed him out.

After that, two bouncers chased the Briton on a motorcycle. According to CCTV footage, the bouncers together with the police detained the foreigner, then a physical altercation arose between them.

In turn, the Thai police said that they found the Briton in a nearby alley and called an ambulance. Paramedics performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation, but the Briton was pronounced dead approximately 200 meters from the bar he was trying to visit.

Reaction of the Thai police

During the fight, they pushed and fought, as a result of which the foreigner fell. We are not sure if there was any pressure during the fall that caused the death, so we are waiting for the results of the forensic examination. After he fell, the guard who was nearby called the police. At the scene, the two people who fought with the foreigner stayed and did not run away

- said Lieutenant Colonel Apichai Khwandjit, Deputy Chief of the Bang Po District Police Station.

However, officers said they received a call at 2:45 a.m., while paramedics received a call at 2:00 a.m. and arrived at the scene at 2:20 a.m. According to the Thai police, the British Embassy was informed about the death of their citizen.

We are providing support to the family of a British citizen who died in Bangkok and are in contact with local authorities

- said a Foreign Office spokesman said The Sun.
