CIA Director William Burns met in Doha with the head of the Mossad and the Prime Minister of Qatar to discuss the continuation of the truce in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners after Qatar announced the extension of the ceasefire.
The CIA director discussed the extension of the ceasefire in Gaza with the head of Israel's Mossad and the prime minister of Qatar at a secret meeting. The meeting was reported by a knowledgeable source, Reuters writes, UNN reports .

It is noted that CIA Director William Burns met in Doha with and the head of the Israeli Secret Service Mossad, David Barnea, met with the Prime Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani. The following issues were discussed, issues related to the continuation of the truce between Israel and Hamas.
The purpose of the talks was to build on the progress in achieving the ceasefire and extending the humanitarian pause, as well as discussing the next stage of the prisoner exchange.
Egyptian officials also participated in the talks.
The meeting took place the day after Qatar announced a two-day extension of the initial four-day truce agreement in Gaza.
Qatar, where some Hamas political leaders are based, has been playing a mediating the negotiations between the parties to the conflict.
