According to Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, law enforcement officers have enough evidence to claim that it was an 18-year-old man detained in Dnipro who shot at linguist Iryna Farion. According to him, the investigation lasted 139 hours.

The police reported earlier that they had several versions of the murder of linguist Iryna Farion, including public and political activities and personal animosity. Law enforcement officers found a shell casing after the shooting and do not rule out a "Russian trace" in the crime.
