Britain's King Charles has spoken of his "shock and sadness" after a soldier died following a fall from a horse at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, UNN reports citing Sky News.

Thames Valley Police said they found "no suspicious circumstances" in the death of the soldier from the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery on Friday evening.
The soldier received medical treatment after falling from the horse but died at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

The publication notes that the horse show is continuing as planned, but without the performance by the King's Troop.

Chief Superintendent Michael Loebenberg said: "We are appealing to anyone who has information or footage related to the death of the military rider at the Royal Windsor Horse Show yesterday, please contact us... At this stage, we have not identified any suspicious circumstances. We are working with the Ministry of Defence, the Defence Accident Investigation Branch, and the Royal Windsor Horse Show organizers HPower to gather as much information as possible and understand how this happened."
Jo Peck, event director for HPower, said: "Our thoughts and condolences are with the family of the soldier who sadly died yesterday. The Royal Windsor Horse Show will continue today according to the published schedule, with the exception of the display by the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery."
