Russia is conducting an information campaign about Kursk for domestic and foreign audiences. The goal is to discredit Ukraine, spread fakes about “voluntary” surrender, and reduce reports of Ukrainian military success.

According to him, the key elements of this campaign are:
- Exaggerating threats to nuclear facilities, in particular, the Kursk and Zaporizhzhia NPPs, and attempts to use the IAEA to put pressure on Kyiv. In reality, the only ones who can prepare nuclear provocations are the Russians.
- The spread of fake reports about the “voluntary” surrender of Ukrainian soldiers, which aims to demoralize society and the army.
- Emphasizing the possible consequences of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' offensive for ceasefire negotiations in order to create a false impression that Ukraine's military actions are futile.
The topic of the negotiations is being massively disseminated in Asia and the Middle East through their networks and media. These information manipulations are part of a broader disinformation strategy aimed at undermining international support for Ukraine
