According to media reports, Poroshenko increased his fortune to 1 1.2 billion over the past year and entered the top three richest oligarchs. The assets were transferred to Alexey's son, who lives in London.

The leader of the European Solidarity Party, Petro Poroshenko, has enriched himself to 1 1.2 billion over the past year and entered the top three oligarchs along with Akhmetov and Pinchuk. But he had to transfer his fortune to his son Alexey, so as not to be associated with enrichment during the war. Political expert Pyotr Oleshchuk writes about this, reports UNN.

"NV published a rating of the richest oligarchs in 2024. Top three winners: Akhmetov, Pinchuk, Poroshenko. If everything is clear with the first two, then with Poroshenko it is more interesting. This year, it has been enriched from 9 950 million to 1 1.2 billion. In a country that is fighting hard, Poroshenko earned 22% more than in 2023, " Oleshchuk said.

The expert notes that Petro Poroshenko should be proud of such achievements, because at the beginning of the war he was only 12th in the rating. But fantastically enriched just during the full-scale invasion of Russia. But, according to the expert, the MP wants such enrichment not to be associated with him personally. That is why I recorded a billion for my eldest son,  Alexey. Oleshchuk explains this act by saying that society will react badly to a billion dollars from an oligarch who collects donations from Ukrainians and constantly promotes the war. At the same time, he recalls that Poroshenko's son fled the country at the beginning of the invasion and just enjoys life in London and Monaco.

According to him, the situation when people's deputies transfer assets to sons, wives, drivers and mistresses has long been practiced in Poroshenko's party in the Verkhovna Rada, because European solidarity is definitely the richest faction among all European parliamentarians. Petro Poroshenko alone earns clearly more than any European parliamentarian.

The expert notes the dissonance between Poroshenko's statements and his condition:

"Somewhere these days, a billionaire oligarch went to Europe to tell European diplomats how difficult life is for him and his deputies during the war. Poe meets and visits his sons in London. Just in time for the Christmas holidays. And you, Ukrainians, fight. And don't forget to donate to the Petro Poroshenko Foundation," Oleshchuk sums up.

As reported earlier, Ukrainian soldiers criticized Poroshenko for PR on the help of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the division of the military into varieties.
