More than 1,300 Ukrainian women received free infertility treatment under the state program

Under the program of medical guarantees, 1,388 Ukrainian women received free infertility treatment, of which 572 women successfully became pregnant. The state finances one cycle of treatment worth more than 80 thousand UAH.
More than 1,300 women have used the infertility treatment package. The Ministry of Health also reported that 572 women have been treated and are expecting babies, reports UNN.

Under the program of medical guarantees, 1,388 Ukrainian women used a package of medical services for infertility treatment using assisted reproductive technologies (ART) free of charge. In addition, 572 women managed to undergo treatment and get pregnant. The program is funded by the state — one cycle of treatment costs more than 80 thousand UAH.
Now 20 Ukrainian medical institutions have signed a contract for this package with the NHS. Those who wish to undergo infertility treatment can go to any contracted institution, regardless of the place of registration of the patient. And you can view the list of hospitals here.
This package of medical services will also be available next year. To get the service, you need the following::
- electronic referral from a medical institution that has created a special multidisciplinary consultation that directs adults to infertility treatment using art under the medical guarantee program;
- established diagnosis of "female infertility", "male infertility";
- applying for infertility treatment to the medical institution that provides these services under a contract with the NHS.

The Cabinet of ministers adopted a resolution on improving the nutrition of military personnel during treatment and rehabilitation. The new norms provide for a special diet and a mechanism for compensating expenses to civilian medical institutions.
