Germany prepares humanitarian aid to Ukraine for winter

Sabine Lackner, head of the German Technical Assistance Agency, visited Kyiv to discuss humanitarian aid for the winter. THW has already provided €120 million worth of assistance to Ukraine and plans to continue its support.

Sabine Lackner, head of the German Technical Assistance Agency (THW), arrived in Kyiv to discuss humanitarian aid to Ukraine for the winter.  This was reported by the German agency, UNN writes with reference to DW. 

Details 

Reportedly, the Agency has already provided over €120 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine and will continue to do so. 

"My visit convinces me that our support for the people of Ukraine should not diminish," Lackner said. 

During his visit to Ukraine, which will last several days, Lackner intends to meet with representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Emergency Service.

The meetings will reportedly discuss further deliveries of humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The main focus will be on the winter, when people will primarily need heating devices.
