Germany moves Ukrainian military equipment repair center from Slovakia - report

Ukraine's German repair center for large military equipment will be moved from Slovakia to Germany by the end of the year. The repair center has been operating in Slovakia since the end of 2022.
The German center for the repair of large Ukrainian military equipment is going to be moved from Slovakia to Germany, the German edition n-tv reports, citing a representative of the country's Defense Ministry, UNN writes.

"After lengthy negotiations, Germany intends to relocate the center for the repair of large military equipment of Ukraine established in Slovakia," the statement said.
"The plan is to move the repair center to Germany by December 31," confirmed a representative of the country's Defense Ministry. He pointed to the changing conditions and, at times, the extremely difficult repairs that have to be carried out.

The repair center in Slovakia has been in operation since the end of 2022. There are other German industrial repair facilities in Lithuania and Ukraine, as noted.
