92% of Ukrainians make donations to help the Armed Forces or those affected by the war, with the average donation amounting to 147 hryvnias, and 33% of Ukrainians donate regularly.

92% of Ukrainians donate from time to time to help the Armed Forces or victims of the war, and 33% of Ukrainians systematically send money to the Armed Forces. This is stated in a study by Deloitte, UNN reports.

According to the survey, 92% of Ukrainians provide assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine or to people affected by military operations, which is 2% higher than in 2022. 33% of respondents do this systematically, which is 13% more than in the previous year.

The number of Ukrainians who regularly donate while abroad has more than doubled, from 17% to 38%.

It is noted that Ukrainians trust fundraising from acquaintances, friends, and colleagues the most. They are supported by more than 75% of respondents, with the average donation amounting to 147 hryvnias.

The second most trusted charities are large charitable foundations, such as Come Back Alive, Serhiy Prytula's foundation, and the Lachev collection (Igor Lachevko). According to Deloitte, almost 71% of respondents donate to them. A significant portion of the population also donates to governmental fundraisers (such as UNITED24) - more than 60%, with the average donation amounting to UAH 121.

According to Opendatabot, 18.75 billion UAH was donated by Ukrainians last year to the three largest funds, namely: "United 24, Come Back Alive, and Shelter Fund. At the same time, this amount was almost half as much as in 2022.
