A Ukrainian delegation will visit the United States on April 11-12 to negotiate a mineral agreement. The visit is a continuation of online negotiations between Washington and Kyiv.

The Ukrainian delegation plans to visit the United States at the end of this week to negotiate a mineral agreement. This was reported by Bloomberg with reference to sources, reports UNN.
Details
Two officials, on condition of anonymity, said that the delegation will include deputy ministers of economy and justice of Ukraine, but without higher-level politicians, as negotiations with the administration of US President Donald Trump at this stage require technical consultations.
It is also reported that Kyiv has also appointed an international law firm to advise on the negotiations, they said.
"The visit is scheduled for April 11-12," the statement said.
Bloomberg notes that a Foreign Ministry representative acknowledged that the visit would take place, but declined to provide further details. The Ministry of Economy did not respond to a request for comment.
According to Bloomberg, the upcoming visit of the Ukrainian delegation was a continuation of online negotiations between Washington and Kyiv in late March. These negotiations took place after the United States sent a draft agreement that they want to sign to Ukraine.
Addition
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that this week lawyers should present him with the main points of the Ukrainian draft agreement on mineral resources with the United States, and after that the technical team will be ready to go to the United States and for dialogue with American partners.
US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent stated that the mineral agreement proposed by the United States to Ukraine is beneficial to both countries. In addition, it was part of President Donald Trump's peace plan. He hopes it will be signed soon, but suspects resistance from those who are currently receiving money from these resources.
