Russia also launched a ballistic missile attack on Kharkiv Oblast, damaging civilian production warehouses – an American company, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Friday, according to UNN.
I held a special conference call on the situation in the regions of Ukraine and restoration efforts. There were no strikes on energy facilities last night, but yesterday afternoon, energy infrastructure in several regions was hit. We are now observing a reorientation of the Russian army towards striking logistics.
Also, according to the President, enemy drone attacks on residential buildings in cities continue. "There was also a ballistic missile strike against Kharkiv Oblast – warehouses of ordinary civilian production were damaged, and this is an American company," Zelenskyy noted.
"In Zaporizhzhia, 'Shaheds' hit one of the city's districts. FPV drone attacks on Kherson, cities in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and especially Nikopol, continue almost around the clock. The situation is difficult in the border areas of Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv Oblasts," the President reported.
According to him, "there was a report on Donetsk Oblast." "We separately considered the situation in Cherkasy Oblast: much more needs to be done to guarantee people basic needs, especially for homes with electric heating," the Head of State noted.
"Additional forces are being deployed for Kyiv: as of this morning, 378 multi-story buildings were without heating," Zelenskyy said.
Reports were also made, according to the President, on the situation in Kyiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Chernivtsi, Khmelnytskyi, and Zhytomyr Oblasts.
Separate tasks for the Minister of Defense of Ukraine and the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine regarding the development of drone defense along the line between Kherson and Zaporizhzhia.
