According to the head of state, specific resilience plans have already been approved for all regions, cities, and communities. The documents identify objects that primarily need restoration, locations for additional protection, and a list of tasks necessary for guaranteed heat and electricity supply in winter.
The deadline for implementing these plans is September 1 of this year. The President emphasized that a strict schedule for concluding contracts and performing work has been established for this purpose.
At the same time, Zelenskyy noted that not all regions are working at the required pace. During the meeting, the situation in regions lagging behind schedule was discussed separately.
Particular attention was paid to Donetsk region, Chernihiv region, Poltava region, Kirovohrad region, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Lviv region, and Kyiv.
In the capital, there is clearly a lack of understanding that sufficient backup sources of electricity and heat supply must be provided for all districts of the city next winter.
He also reported that he instructed the Commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Minister of Defense to work with the leadership of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv region, and Kharkiv region on the issue of additional provision of interceptors and training crews to combat attack drones.
The President added that the government is ready to assist regions with justified needs, and the Recovery Agency is already performing specific tasks.
