Spring is delayed: forecasters warned of a cold snap and strong winds on April 21, with fruit trees suffering the most

Forecasters predict night frosts down to -3 degrees and strong gusts of wind. Most regions will experience rain, and wet snow is expected in the Carpathians.
Spring in Ukraine is not yet in a hurry to establish itself: on April 21, the weather will again bring rain, strong winds, and night frosts in a number of regions. This is reported by UNN with reference to the forecast of Ukrhydrometeorological Center meteorologists.
According to meteorologists, on Tuesday, cloudy weather with periodic clearings is expected throughout the country. The sun will appear from time to time, but no special warmth should be expected from it.
Where and when to expect precipitation on April 21
At night, precipitation is forecast almost throughout Ukraine, with the exception of the northern regions. During the day, the rains will shift and cover primarily the western regions - Prykarpattia and Zakarpattia, as well as the south and southeast of the country. In these areas, the rains will be moderate, in places - significant.
The wind is forecast to be predominantly northerly, with a speed of 7–12 m/s. In the southern regions, gusts will reach 15–20 m/s in places.
What will be the air temperature on Tuesday, April 21
At night, the country is expected to have temperatures from +1 to +6 degrees. At the same time, in the northern regions, as well as in Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions, air frosts of 0…-3 degrees are possible.
During the day, the temperature will rise only to +7…+12 degrees.
In the Carpathians, the weather conditions are forecast to be even more severe: wet snow is expected there, and the temperature during the day will fluctuate from -3 degrees to +2 degrees.
Overall, the day promises to be cool, windy, and rainy in places.
Weather on April 21: Ukrainians warned of danger
On the night of April 21, frosts are expected in the air in the northern, Volyn, Rivne, Khmelnytsky, Vinnytsia, Cherkasy, and Poltava regions: 0-3 degrees. This is the second level of danger, orange.
And on April 22, frosts are forecast in Zakarpattia, Odesa, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions. There, the temperature on the ground will remain within 0-5 degrees.
Early fruit trees that are currently blooming will suffer the most from such low temperatures.
