They stated that tonight the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive strike using precision-guided ground-based weapons and long-range attack drones.
“The strike hit communications and energy infrastructure facilities in Kyiv, Kyiv and Kharkiv regions, which are used in the interests of the military-industrial complex and the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the statement said.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the Russians attacked energy facilities and infrastructure in Kyiv, the region, and Kharkiv. At least 600,000 people were left without electricity.
The overnight strikes also damaged railway infrastructure in five regions. There were no casualties, and more than 100 trains are delayed.
