President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed Bill No. 8313, which changes the policy of granting leave

The procedure for granting vacations is changing in Ukraine. The relevant bill No. 8313 was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, according to the parliament's website, UNN reports.

"21.12.2023 - returned with the signature of the President of Ukraine," the document's status report reads.

What is expected:

  • leave for the birth of a child no later than 3 months from the date of birth
  • leave due to the adoption of a child, regardless of the child's age
  • the main uninterrupted part of the annual leave is at least 14 days
    .
  • the maximum period of unpaid leave shall be increased from 15 to 30 days
    .
  • 60 days of leave for demobilized persons with 2 months' salary.

As reported, the new law managed to preserve the right of employees to sabbaticals.
