Police officers continue to perform their duties in the constantly shelled Vovchansk community of Kharkiv region: they inspect the scene after another shelling, document russian war crimes, extinguish fires if necessary, and, in cooperation with volunteers, evacuate people and animals, and provide first aid to the victims.

On July 11, they were called to the village of Bilyi Kolodyazh, which was shelled by russians in the morning: three enemy guided aerial bombs hit residential buildings, destroyed houses, and cut power lines.

While the investigators and police officers of the community were finding out if there were any wounded and documenting the consequences of the hits, firewood began to smolder and ignite.

Under the hot sun, a massive fire could have broken out. Without hesitation, law enforcement officers began to extinguish the fire with improvised means - earth and sand. They were assisted by local residents who brought water from a well

At the same time, police provided medical assistance to the man, who uses crutches. The victim suffered minor shrapnel wounds.

According to Oleksiy Kharkovsky, head of the patrol police response sector in Vovchansk, two families agreed to leave after the shelling. He said that there were no children left in Bilyi Kolodyazh, which had a population of about 4,000 before the war and now has about 400 residents. The last families with children were evacuated about three weeks ago.

Now we will evacuate children from villages located further away from the front line

On the evening of July 11, the russian military again conducted air strikes on the village of Bilyi Kolodyazh. Three civilians were killed and eight were injured as a result of the enemy's UAVs.
