During a nighttime attack by Russia, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed four Iranian-made Shahed drones and one unidentified drone.

On the night of April 28, the Air Force destroyed four chessboards and one drone of an unidentified type. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, UNN reports.

Details

It is noted that the enemy attacked at night:

  • 4 attack UAVs of "Shahed-131/136" type from Cape Chauda - Crimea, 
  • with a S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile from the Belgorod region - Russia,
  • 5 unidentified drones from the occupied Kherson region.

As a result of combat work by anti-aircraft missile units and calculations of mobile fire groups of the Air Force, all four "chessmen" were destroyed in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytsky and Kirovohrad regions.

One UAV of an unidentified type was destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces' military task force in Mykolaiv region.
