Singer Alina Grosu announced an important event in her family – her one-and-a-half-month-old son, Mark Gabriel, received the sacrament of baptism. The artist shared photos from the christening and revealed who became the boy's godmother in her Instagram post, UNN reports.

Grosu spoke about the event on social media. According to the singer, the christening became an occasion to gather all relatives and close friends at one table for the first time in many years.
"Finally, it happened. Our son Mark Gabriel is now baptized. I am infinitely happy that my son's christening became a wonderful reason to gather all our relatives and close friends at one table for the first time in many years. For me, it was a day filled with love, warmth, and gratitude. We so rarely have the opportunity to stop and be together, so these moments will remain in my heart forever. P.s. Iryna Bilyk is now a real godmother in our family; I am very happy that we entrusted our little one to such good and important people in our lives," the artist wrote.
Singer Iryna Bilyk became Mark Gabriel's godmother. Bilyk herself also shared her emotions regarding the event and mentioned that for many years she had joked with Alina about the status of being her "godmother in Ukrainian show business."
"Today is a very special day for me. For many years, Alina and I joked that I was her 'godmother in Ukrainian show business.' It always pleased me that such warm, family-like relations, full of trust, support, and love, developed between us. And today, this symbolic title became a reality — I had the honor of becoming the godmother of Alina's wonderful son. For me, this is a great joy, responsibility, and blessing. I sincerely thank you for this trust. May the baby grow up healthy, happy, under God's protection, and surrounded by love.
