Russian strikes on energy infrastructure caused power outages in several regions - Ministry of Energy

Due to Russian strikes on energy infrastructure, power supply interruptions are being recorded in several regions of Ukraine. Power engineers are working on the rapid restoration of electricity supply, with emergency crews deployed in an intensified mode. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy, according to UNN.

As a result of hostilities and shelling of energy facilities, some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Chernihiv regions remain temporarily without electricity supply

- the statement reads.

Power engineers are working in an intensified mode to restore electricity supply to all subscribers as quickly as possible. Restoration work is ongoing around the clock.

No restrictions are forecasted for today. It is recommended to check information regarding any changes in power supply on the official resources of the distribution system operators.

Consumers are asked, if possible, to use electricity sparingly during evening hours — from 18:00 to 22:00. This helps to reduce the load on the power system.
