Political analyst Viktor Bobyrenko considers the proposals of the head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, regarding new taxes to be a form of pressure on business. The expert emphasizes that in times of war, any pressure on business is a crime.

Proposals by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Tax Committee, Danylo Hetmantsev, to introduce new taxes and increase the financial burden on private entrepreneurs are a form of pressure on business. This opinion was voiced by political scientist Viktor Bobirenko in a commentary to UNN.

According to him, there are different forms of pressure on business, and it is not only MPs who exert it.

Today, they are trying to put pressure on business in various ways. Including through regulations. We hear all the time, in particular, from Danylo Hetmantsev about the introduction of additional taxes, that individual entrepreneurs will be transferred to another taxation system. This can also be considered pressure. And the pressure comes directly from the local level - through government agencies. For example, with gas supplies, businesses complain a lot about this. They demand prepayment or demand to choose gas according to the quotas of previous years. Businesses say, “Thank you, we don't need it,” and in return, they say, “Pay up and then we'll see. There is pressure like in the case of Mykola Tyshchenko, when they are conditionally at war with call centers, but the principle is this: either you will pay me, or I will fight you

 ,” Bobirenko said.

The expert added that there are also various schemes of pressure on business through the distribution of contracts, in particular through the restoration of facilities. He noted that in times of war, any pressure on business is a crime.

It is important not to put pressure on business. But they can't - it seems as if someone is living and making money as if it were the last day. Pressure is the same as making money or pinching people. This is destruction. In times of war, it is a crime

- summarized the political scientist.

In June, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine passed a scandalous bill on the “white business club” by the head of the parliament's tax committee, Danylo Hetmantsev. The document was criticized by both Hetmantsev's colleagues in parliament and experts. Even legal opinions stated that it did not comply with Ukrainian law.

According to experts, this draft law aims to divide entrepreneurs and undermine their efforts to reform the tax system.

In their comments to UNN , economic experts also pointed out that the document violates the Constitution of Ukraine and creates discriminatory conditions in the business environment.

Analysts of the Union of Ukrainian Entrepreneurs also concluded that Hetmantsev's draft law contains discriminatory provisions and has corruption risks.

Business Ombudsman Roman Vashchuk also stated that the draft law on the “white business club” is discriminatory.
