Details

The exhibition is dedicated to the documentary film project of the same name about the participation of Ukrainian artists Taras Topolya, Serhiy Zhadan, Taras Kompanichenko, and others in a full-scale war with Russia. This is a project by Ukrainian artists who took up arms instead of a microphone, kobza, or lens. The photo exhibition "Culture vs. War" brings together the works of Kostiantyn and Vlada Liberov, as well as Serhiy Mykhalchuk. The artists' works have already traveled to 35 countries. On February 22, the photographs were viewed at the European Parliament in Brussels, and on February 26, at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris. Today they are presented at the MHP headquarters.

"The war of worldviews and values is ongoing, so cultural projects are an important part of resistance to the enemy. MHP systematically supports such initiatives: over 2 years of full-scale war, we have allocated almost UAH 70 million for cultural projects. We thank Ukrainian artists for their struggle and strength to create against all odds!" - comments Yuriy Kosyuk, Chairman of the Board of MHP.

The event dedicated to the opening of the photo exhibition was attended by artists who have taken up arms: kobzar Taras Kompanichenko, director and actor Akhtem Seitablaev. The exhibition was presented by Andriy Rizol, MHP's partner and founder of the Watch Ukrainian association. Read more in the story by UNN.
