The situation at the front, defense needs, and the Army+ app: Umerov meets with Lithuanian Defense Minister

The Ministers of Defense of Ukraine and Lithuania meet in Kyiv to discuss the situation at the front and the needs of the Armed Forces. An agreement is signed on cooperation within the Lithuanian-led Coalition for Demining.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov held a productive meeting with Lithuanian Defense Minister Laurinas Kasciunas in Kyiv. The parties discussed the situation at the front and the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, UNN reports.
"I briefed my Lithuanian colleague on the current situation at the front and discussed the current needs of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. I also emphasized Lithuania's effective leadership in the Mine Action Coalition, which has united a large number of countries to support our army. We signed an agreement with Laurinas Kasciunas on cooperation within the Coalition," Umerov said.
In addition, the Defense Minister spoke about the experience of deploying fortifications on the front line. A comprehensive defense system is a key factor in deterring the enemy.
Umerov also presented to his Lithuanian counterpart the capabilities of the new digital application for the military, Army+.
