Ukrainian officials learned about Trump's request to Putin to stop shelling from the words of the US president. No signals were received from Russia, the ceasefire agreement has not been confirmed.

In Ukraine, officials learned from the words of US President Donald Trump about his request to Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to stop shelling, and received no signals from Russia. This was reported by FT journalist Christopher Miller, according to UNN.
Ukrainian officials say they learned about it (the request to Putin to stop shelling - ed.) from Trump's words, received no signal from Russia, and are not yet sure that a ceasefire agreement has been reached.
