Russian troops are most active in the Pokrovsk direction and are shelling Sumy region. The Defense Forces repelled three futile assaults in the area of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has attacked the positions of the Defense Forces 43 times, with the occupiers being most active in the Pokrovsk direction. In addition, three unsuccessful enemy assault attempts were recorded in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge, UNN reports with reference to the General Staff's summary.
Artillery shelling of border areas continues. Today, in Sumy region, the settlements of Iskriskivshchyna, Bachivsk, Atynske, Stukalivka, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Volfyne, Korenyok, Vasylivske, Khodyne were affected. Svarokove and Fotovyzh were subjected to air strikes.
In the Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk directions, the enemy stormed the positions of our defenders once, and also carried out 38 shellings of settlements and positions of our troops, three of which were with the use of multiple rocket launcher systems.
In the Southern-Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the areas of the settlements of Synelnykove, Prylipka, Lyman.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy tried twice to improve its position towards the settlements of Novoosinove and Novoplatonivka.
In the Lyman direction, there was one combat engagement with the enemy in the Hrekivka area.
In the Sloviansk direction, since the beginning of the day, our defenders have stopped one attempt to advance in the direction of Riznykivka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Tykhonivka.
In the Kostiantynivka direction, the invaders carried out eight attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, and Sofiivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, since the beginning of the day, the occupiers have tried 12 times to dislodge our soldiers from their occupied positions in the areas of the settlements of Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Muravka, Filiia, and towards the settlements of Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Serhiivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked once in the direction of Lisne.
In the Huliaipole direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled nine enemy attacks towards the settlements of Pryluky, Dobropillia, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Varvarivka. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Lisne, Nove Pole, Vozdvyzhivka, Barvinivka, Shyroke, and Charivne. One combat engagement is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy launched air strikes on the areas of the settlements of Veselianka and Kushuhum.
In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the enemy carried out three unsuccessful assault attempts in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge.
In other directions, there are currently no significant changes in the situation. No enemy attempts to advance have been recorded, the General Staff summarized.
