The former logistics commander of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was notified of a new suspicion of illicit enrichment. According to the investigation, he acquired property worth UAH 20 million more than his legitimate income.
The former commander of logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Force has received a new suspicion—in illicit enrichment. It was discovered that, through close associates, apartments in Bukovel, six apartments, four cars, and more had been registered, Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko said on Thursday on social media, UNN reports.

"Not the first suspicion. And, apparently, not the last," Kravchenko said.
According to him, in February this year, the then commander of logistics of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Air Force Command was already notified of suspicion in a case involving the embezzlement of budget funds allocated for the construction of strategic defense facilities for Ukrainian aviation.
Now, the Prosecutor General said, the investigation has established new circumstances.
Today, he was notified of a new suspicion of illicit enrichment. According to the investigation, between 2020 and 2025, the serviceman acquired assets whose value exceeds his lawful income by at least UAH 20 million
During this period, according to the investigation, "through close associates, six apartments in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, and Zhytomyr, three residential houses in the Zhytomyr region, apartments in Bukovel, six plots of land, four cars, including an Audi Q7 and an Audi Q5, as well as garages and other non-residential premises, were registered."
"Despite being registered in the names of his parents, son, common-law partner, and godfather, the actual owner and manager of this property, according to the investigation, remained the lieutenant colonel himself. The investigation did not establish any lawful sources of income that could explain the acquisition of such assets," the Prosecutor General said.
Under the procedural supervision of prosecutors from the Office of the Prosecutor General, he was notified of suspicion under Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. He was also served with a motion requesting the imposition of pretrial detention, with the alternative of bail exceeding UAH 21 million.
"The defense sector is not a place for personal enrichment. Especially during wartime. We will continue working," Kravchenko stressed.
