Already on Tuesday, May 7, at 10:00 PM, the first semi-final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place in Malmö, Sweden. Where to watch and how to vote in Ukraine and abroad, Suspilne Eurovision reported, writes UNN.

At Malmö Arena, 15 participants of the first semi-final will compete for the right to reach the final of the contest. Ukraine's representatives alyona alyona & Jerry Heil will take the stage of Eurovision 2024 under number 5 with the song "Teresa & Maria" and a performance by two-time Grammy nominee Tanu Muino.
Suspilne Broadcasting will broadcast Eurovision 2024 live on television, digital, and radio.
Eurovision 2024 broadcasts on Suspilne platforms will for the first time be accompanied by sign language translation.
Television
Half an hour before the first semi-final, at 9:30 PM, the broadcast of "Preshow. Eurovision Song Contest 2024" will begin on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel. The hosts of the first episode will be Timur Miroshnychenko and singer Diana Gloster.
Guests of the "Preshow" for the first semi-final will be:
- Borys Gainichakiy - stylist, fashion brand consultant, YouTuber, and author of the analysis of the stage images of the finalists of the National Selection for Eurovision 2024;
- Yevhen Triplov - author and music producer. Showrunner of the musical reality show "MULTITRACK";
- Herman Nenov - stage director of Luxembourg's performance at Eurovision 2024. Creative director of Eurovision 2023 from Ukraine and the National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2023.
The live broadcast of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will begin on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel at 10:00 PM. The show will be commented by Timur Miroshnychenko, who has been the Ukrainian voice of Eurovision in Ukraine for 19 years.
Radio
Live broadcast of the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will be heard by listeners of Radio Promin with commentary by Dmytro Zakharchenko and Lesya Antypenko, as well as exclusive inclusions by Anna Zakletska from the scene - Malmö Arena. The show starts at 10:00 PM, preshow - 9:30 PM.

Star performances in the semi-final
This year, the organizers invited Eleni Foureira, Eric Saade, and Chanel to perform in the first semi-final of Eurovision. The number called "United By Music" demonstrates not only the official slogan of the song contest but also the call that you don't have to win the contest to become a winner at Eurovision. Thanks to their performances at Eurovision, these three artists gained many new fans and have since released many hits.
Together with 24 dancers on stage, Eleni, Chanel, and Eric will perform the songs with which they participated in the contest - it will be an amazing show that will open the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024.
Also in the first semi-final of Eurovision will perform Swedish singer Benjamin Ingrosso, who participated in Eurovision 2018 in Lisbon with the song "Dance You Off". At Eurovision 2024, Ingrosso will perform a medley of several songs that sounded in his recent European tour "Better Days Tour".
How to vote
In 2024, a number of changes were made to the voting system at the song contest. Viewers from all over the world, except those in participating countries, can now vote for their favorite songs for 24 hours before each semi-final and grand final.

Representatives of 37 countries are participating in the 68th Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. Sweden is hosting Eurovision for the third time and has won the contest seven times.
The Eurovision 2024 semi-finals will take place on May 7 and 9, and the grand final of the contest will be held on Saturday, May 11. In total, representatives of 20 countries will be selected from the two semi-finals for the final, and on May 11, representatives of countries that automatically qualify for the final will compete for victory: this year these are Sweden, as the host country, as well as Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy, and France.
