The president of Ukraine approved the budget for 2025 with expenditures of UAH 3.6 trillion and revenues of UAH 2.05 trillion. the largest share of funds - UAH 2.23 trillion - will go to defense and security.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has signed the law on the state budget for 2025, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal has said.
The priority of the budget remains the protection of our state. Financing of security and Defense Forces, purchase and production of weapons, drones and equipment. We allocate UAH 2.23 trillion for this purpose
UAH 420.9 billion is allocated for Social Protection, UAH 217 billion for healthcare, and UAH 199 billion for education.
In general, next year's expenses are planned at the level of UAH 3.6 trillion. revenues — UAH 2.05 trillion.
"The government clearly understands that we will pass the next fiscal year confidently. We have the coherence of the branches of government and the strong support of our partners," Shmygal stressed.
