Deputy Prime Minister Kubrakov emphasized the need to move from humanitarian aid to recovery efforts during a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction of Ukraine, Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov has stated the need to move from humanitarian aid to reconstruction. He said this during a meeting with the UN Resident Coordinator in Ukraine Denise Brown, UNN reports.
We need to start moving step by step towards the transition from humanitarian assistance to recovery. Together with the UN Humanitarian Coordinator Denise Brown and partners, we discussed this at a meeting of the Steering Committee on Community Development Planning, Durable Solutions and Recovery
According to him, the primary task now is to ensure the recovery and sustainable development of the affected communities.
"Our common goals in this process will be synchronized with the key strategic documents for recovery - Ukraine Facility and RDNA3, which outline the areas of recovery and medium-term investment priorities," Kubrakov said.
