The Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council officially denied information about the authorities' plans to lower the mobilization age and conscript students. The messages, which are widely spread online, are part of a targeted information and psychological operation by the enemy aimed at destabilizing the situation in the country, the CCD emphasized, UNN writes.

The reason for the spread of disinformation was photographs of announcements allegedly posted in one of the agricultural colleges. They referred to the "updating of military registration data" of students in the period from December 22 to 30.

The Center's specialists conducted a check and found that there were no such messages either on the official website of the institution or on its social media pages. This indicates a probable forgery of the visual design of the educational institution for manipulation purposes.

In fact, as of today, no decisions have been made or are being prepared to lower the mobilization age in Ukraine. The relevant statements have no factual basis whatsoever.
