"A coward in Moscow who is afraid to meet with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to end the war continues to wage war against peaceful people,"
The country's top diplomat emphasized that Russia carried out a brutal terrorist attack on the Ukrainian capital, resulting in civilian deaths and injuries.
"We call for the adoption of adequate decisive response measures. We need crushing pressure on Moscow to end this terror,"
Sybiha called on the European Union to urgently unblock the 21st package of sanctions against Russia and not to allow pauses in strengthening sanctions pressure and international isolation of the Russian Federation.
Separately, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized the need to implement without delay the agreements on supplying Ukraine with additional air defense systems and interceptors.
"Everyone who delays the supply of these vital means of defense should know that the price of delay is measured in human lives,"
The minister also called for intensifying the work of the anti-ballistic coalition and building a European system of protection against ballistic missiles.
In addition, Sybiha opposed decisions to return Russia to international sports competitions, stating that such steps could effectively justify the Russian Federation's war crimes.
"Putin cannot be stopped by a policy of appeasement. He will go further and further if he is not stopped by force right now. Provide Ukraine with all necessary means to stop Russia and end the war,"
