Police detained a customs officer for the murder of a serviceman during notification measures in Lviv. The victim sustained a neck injury and died in the hospital.

The suspected assailant who fatally stabbed a TCR serviceman in the neck in Lviv has been detained – the suspect turned out to be an inspector of the Lviv Customs, and the motives for the crime are being established, the National Police reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

Context
According to the police, on April 2, at about 2:15 PM, a report was received on the 102 special line that an unknown person had stabbed a TCR serviceman in the neck on Paton Street in Lviv during notification measures. The victim died in the hospital from his injuries.
Criminal police operatives, investigators, patrol police officers, and employees of other Lviv region police services were involved in solving the crime. A police special operation was conducted.
Law enforcement officers quickly established the whereabouts of the Lviv resident, born in 1991, and detained him in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. The suspect turned out to be an inspector of the Lviv Customs. The motives for the crime are being established
