Lviv TCC announced inevitable punishment after the murder of a serviceman

On Paton Street, an unknown assailant fatally wounded a TCC serviceman. Police are conducting a special operation; the attacker faces life imprisonment for murder.

In Lviv, on April 2, a serviceman of one of the territorial recruitment centers and social support was fatally wounded while performing his official duties. The Lviv TCC and SP stated that the attacker would definitely be punished, UNN writes.

According to preliminary data, the attack occurred around 1:20 p.m. in the area of Paton Street. An unknown assailant inflicted a fatal blow to the serviceman's neck. The TCC expressed condolences to the family of the deceased and emphasized that responsibility for this crime would not be avoided.

Currently, a police special operation is underway in the city. Investigators, criminal police operatives, patrol officers, and other units of the Lviv region police are involved in the search for the attacker.
The attack is being investigated as intentional homicide
Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor's Office, opened criminal proceedings under paragraph 8, part 2, article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – intentional homicide.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of 10 to 15 years or life imprisonment. The Lviv TCC emphasized that they expect the attacker's identity to be quickly established and apprehended.
