In Lviv, police are searching for an assailant who inflicted a fatal wound on a TCR serviceman. Today, April 2, at about 2:15 PM, the 102 hotline received a report that on Paton Street in Lviv, during notification measures, an unknown person stabbed a TCR serviceman in the neck, after which he fled. Despite the efforts of medics, the victim died in the hospital from his injuries.

As noted, criminal police operatives, investigators, patrol officers, and employees of other police services are involved in solving the crime.
"Investigators of the territorial police unit, under the procedural guidance of the Frankivsk District Prosecutor's Office, have initiated criminal proceedings under paragraph 8 of part 2 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the police reported.
The sanction of the article provides for punishment - imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
