Outage schedules and increased import: what is happening in the power system

The transmission system operator applies hourly outage schedules due to enemy shelling. The water level at ZNPP is sufficient, and electricity imports will amount to 12,378 MWh.

Due to enemy shelling, Ukraine continues to apply hourly power outage schedules today, with 12,378 MWh of electricity planned to be imported, which is more than the previous day, the Energy Ministry said on Monday, UNN reports.

As reported by the Ministry of Energy, as a result of enemy shelling, the transmission system operator is temporarily applying hourly outage schedules.

The Ministry of Energy urged all consumers to use electricity rationally, as economical consumption helps reduce the load on the system.

Over the past day, power companies restored power to 2,810 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities.

Situation at ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond is 14.10 meters. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

Import

For the current day, December 12, imports from 5 countries - Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary and Moldova - are forecasted to total 12,378 MWh, which is more than the day before, December 11 (11,479 MWh), and with a capacity of 924 MW.
