General Staff: 76 combat engagements took place in the frontline

Over the last day, 76 combat engagements took place on the frontline, Ukrainian troops repelled numerous enemy attacks in various sectors, including in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, Orikhivsk and Kherson sectors.
There were 76 combat engagements at the frontline over the past day, the General Staff reported in a morning summary, UNN reports .

The enemy did not conduct any offensive (assault) actions in the area of responsibility of the "Khortytsia" separate military unit on the Kupyansk direction.
In the Liman sector, our troops repelled 16 enemy attacks in the vicinity of Terny, Yampolivka, Rozdolivka in Donetsk region and Bilohorivka in Luhansk region.
In the Bakhmut sector, Ukrainian defense forces repelled five enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Ivanivka and Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Brigade in the Avdiivka sector, our defenders repelled 20 enemy attacks in the areas of Berdychi, Orlivka, Tonenke, Pervomayske, Donetsk region.
In the Novopavlivsk sector, Ukrainian defense forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Novomykhailivka and Vodiane in Donetsk region, where the enemy, supported by aviation, tried to break through the defense of our troops 24 times.
On the Orikhivskyi direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our defenders 7 times in the areas of Staromayorske, Donetsk region; Robotyne and west of Verbove, Zaporizhzhia region.
One unsuccessful assault on the positions of Ukrainian troops was carried out in the area of responsibility of the Odesa separate military unit in the Kherson sector.
