Details
The prosecutor's office asks the court to impose a preventive measure on Bessonov in the form of round-the-clock house arrest for 60 days.
During the trial, the suspect stated that he did not understand the nature of the charges against him. He stated that he "saw that one of the victims had already died and realized that he could not do anything, as he had no medical education".
The suspect's father was recognized as his legal representative. He said that his son was being threatened on social media and received threats to his life and health on his cell phone.
He also stated that as of December 1, 2024, his son lived separately from his parents, staying with a close friend. The father notes that although his son had a room in the dormitory, he did not actually live there.
According to the father, his son's friend asked him to borrow the car for two days. When he agreed, he took the car because he had a driver's license.
The mother, according to the father, does not participate in the upbringing of his son. Also, the father does not object to the possible imposition of an appropriate measure against his son.
Investigators say the suspect has been brought to administrative responsibility three times: for causing road accidents, injuring others, fleeing the scene of a crime, and driving without permits.
